Riverton's Relay for Life set for June 21; teams can register now

Jun 3, 2013 - By Andrea Novotny, Staff Writer

Riverton's Relay for Life will begin at 5:30 p.m. June 21 and end at noon June 22 at Riverton High School.

Registration will begin at 4 p.m. June 21. Team registration is $100, and event coordinators recommend that each person set a fundraising goal of $100.

Events --including a pajama contest, bed-head contest, cake walk and chili cook-off --are scheduled for every hour throughout the night.

Teams can register by calling Corinna Long at 851-6840 or Sandi Stover at 851-4965 or by visiting relayforlife.org and searching for the Riverton event. Anyone interested who does not have a team can join an existing team by contacting Long or Stover.

Bott Monument Interior Innovations also has donated a kitchen makeover door prize. Tickets are $20 or $100 for six and can be bought from Long and Stover.
