Jun 3, 2013 - StaffMable Helen (Hayes) Eatherton, of Terry, Mont., died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Holy Rosary Health Center in Miles City, Mont. She was 88 years old.
Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, June 3, at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Terry, Mont. A funeral service begins at 2 p.m. at the funeral home in Terry, Mont.
Mable Helen Hayes was born Jan. 22, 1925, in Sturgis, S.D., the daughter of Jerome and Helen (Grebner) Hayes.
She attended high school at St. Martin's Academy in Sturgis, S.D.
On June 1, 1944, she met and married H. Thomas Weisz. They had five children.
The couple divorced in 1968.
In May 1968, she married Bud Eatherton in Sheridan.
In 1970, they moved to Terry, Mont.
She worked various jobs as a nurses aid through the years.
Her family said she loved to knit and attend her morning coffee club meetings with her friends, but most of all she loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Bud Eatherton, of Terry, Mont.; son Gar Weisz and his wife Wanda of Shoshoni; sister Rita Tilley of New York; grandchildrenSkye Coleman-Weisz (Skye Marie Weisz) of Riverton, Forest (Shay) Coleman-Weisz of Thermopolis, and Stacy and her husband Charles Guston of Douglas; great-grandchildren Kirra Coleman-Weisz, Aspyn Coleman-Weisz and Aiden Coleman-Weisz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Helen Hayes; sons Milton Weisz, Elliott Weisz, Donald Weisz and Dwight Weisz; and two brother and four sisters.
