Jun 3, 2013 - StaffThelma Jolley of Lander died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Help for Health Hospice Home. She was 78 years old.
Per her request, cremation has taken place, and there will be no services.
Thelma Carrie Bush was born Jan. 31, 1935, in Newcastle, the daughter of Herbert and Myrtle (Fawcet) Bush.
On Dec. 24, 1951, she married Lloyd Jolley in Ely, Nev. They raised three children and lived in Lander for 51 years.
Mrs. Jolley worked at Lander Medical Regional Center and Wyoming State Training School.
Her family said she enjoyed singing and playing the guitar with her family, ceramics, camping and family gatherings.
They said her family and friends were her greatest joy.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd, of Lander; sons Larry C. Jolley and his wife Toni of Papua, Indonesia, and Tracy Dean Jolley of Lander; daughter Kathleen Cachelin and her husband Terry of Lander; grandchildren Terry Cachelin Jr., Laurie Meeks, Joe Jolley, Emily Jolley, Gavin Jolley, Alexis Jolley and Karen Good; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Alma, Evelyn and Edna; brother Herbert; and son Garth Lynn.
