I really don't know whether I am supposed to laugh or frown at the conclusion of the long argument between the Fremont County Coroner and the county commissioners over the kind of identification sticker that is put on the county coroner's trucks.
The whole time this was going on, I was hoping that people from outside Fremont County or Wyoming weren't aware of this or were not paying attention to it. It seems so small and petty that I felt embarrassed for Fremont County.
I just could not believe that grown men and women would spend so much time and hot air arguing about something like this. It was like kids arguing in a sandbox. But my friend said we should be OK with it, because if they were all arguing about this it must mean that the county didn't have any more important problems to worry about.
I don't know about that, because it sure seems there are lots more important things for our county's leadership to be concerned with than decals on the corners wagon. And it was downright hilarious when the stickers that the corner wanted to put on the vehicles said state of Wisconsin not Wyoming.
As the old saying goes, you can't make this stuff up. People would never believe it.
