Here are some facts and figures about the "Penny Power"sign:

One green sign -- $260.

One steel post, 12 feet tall -- $32.40.

One employee to set sign -- $55.38 estimated.

One employee to take down sign -- $55.38, estimated.

One engineer to tell him where it goes -- $480.

Total for each sign -- $883.16.

Based on the 1 percent sales tax, taxpayers must spend $88,316 for each sign you see, or for $1 million you get 12 signs.
