Jun 7, 2013 - StaffKenneth Lee "Kenny" Rusler, of Riverton, died Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Help for Health Hospice. He was 61 years old.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 7, at Davis Funeral Home with Pastor David Magruder of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.
Kenneth Lee Rusler was born Nov. 23, 1951, in Riverton, the son of Jerry L. and Dorothy (Kraus) Rusler.
He lived and was raised in Sand Draw and attended country schools until his high school years when he attended, and eventually graduated from, Riverton High School.
After graduation he worked for his uncle at the Husky Service Station. He then went on to work for the Northern Utilities Co. in Sand Draw for more than 20 years until his retirement.
After he retired, he worked for M&M Inc. as a contract pumper until his death.
His family said he enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, four-wheeling, fishing, hunting and taking care of his lawn. He also enjoyed watching Westerns, and he loved his dogs, Bernie and Rusty. He was a member of the ATV Club.
He is survived by his special friend, Paula Caines, of Riverton; mother Dorothy Rusler of Riverton; sister Joyce and her husband Patrick McKiernan of Riverton; uncle Bob and aunt Muriel Kraus of Riverton; niece Tonya and her husband Rich Lange of Riverton; nephew Nick and his wife Lauren McKiernan of Riverton; great-nephews Dillon and Derick Lange and Tyler McKiernan; and great-niece Torrey McKiernan.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents Dave and Alvina Kraus and Harold and Genevieve Rusler.
