Proceed carefully when making changes in museum management

Jun 9, 2013 - Patrice Brevinhall, Lander

I hope before the way the Fremont County museums are set up and managed is changed to a single director, that this idea can be talked about thoroughly. Maybe there even could be a public hearing in each town where there is a county museum.

When you look back at the library director situation, I am not sure that this sets the example to follow for the museums.

County commissioner Kessler said it was a good time to "make some changes." But why exactly?

It is a good time always to find good directors for the local museums.

I am just one person and one opinion, but I am not convinced yet that this is the right thing to do, putting one person in charge of everything.
