Mead mulling lottery board members

Jun 9, 2013 The Associated Press

CHEYENNE --Gov. Matt Mead says he's still going over names of people to serve on the board that will bring the lottery to Wyoming.

Mead must appoint a nine-member board that will oversee the quasi-governmental corporation that will run the lottery. He intends to have the appointments ready by early July.

The governor says he's settled on one person so far and is narrowing down the list for the other eight positions. The governor's office has been in contact with 25 people about the positions.
