CALDWELL

Russell Caldwell, 53, died Saturday, June 8, at his home surrounded by family and friends. Traditional Indian funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 13, at Blue Sky Hall with Scotty Brown Eyes and Lessert Moore officiating. Evening service will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Blue Sky Hall with a wake to follow at the family residence, 160 17 Mile Road, Ethete.

WILSON

Stanley G. "Stan" Wilson, 69, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Riverton and Montana, died Wednesday, June 5, at the University of Indianapolis Medical Center. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, at United Methodist Church in Riverton. Services are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Riverton.

In Riverton Police Department weekend reports through Tuesday morning:

- Justin Steele, 25, of Riverton, was arrested for probation violation at about 1:30 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of East Jackson Avenue.

- A 17-year-old Riverton boy was issued a misdemeanor citation for minor in possession of alcohol at about 1:50 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of North Second Street West. He was released with his promise to appear in court at a later date.

- Jade Friday, 23, of Riverton, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant at about 3:45 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of North Federal Boulevard.

- Nathan Groesbeck, 37, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication and on a Fremont County warrant at about 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of East Main Street. The initial call was regarding a stolen purse.

- Dana Eagle, 36, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication at about 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of East Main Street.

- Jody Blackburn, 33, of Riverton, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant at about 8:50 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of East Main Street.

- Benjamin Piper, 47, of Riverton, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant at about 9:20 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of North Federal Boulevard.

- Dominic Fightingbear, 36, of Arapahoe, was arrested for public intoxication at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday at Riverton Memorial Hospital.

- Robert Terry, 27, of Riverton, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant at about 2:15 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of South Fourth Street West.

- The following minors were issued misdemeanor citations at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of South Second Street West and released with their promise to appear in court at a later date: a 15-year-old Arapahoe boy for minor in possession of alcohol, a 15-year-old Riverton boy for minor in possession of alcohol, a 15-year-old Riverton girl for minor in possession of alcohol, a 15-year-old Arapahoe boy for minor in possession of alcohol, and a 15-year-old Arapahoe boy for minor in possession of alcohol.

- Cameron C'Bearing, 38, of Arapahoe, was arrested for public intoxication and on a Fremont County warrant at about 12:10 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of South Federal Boulevard. With him was Craig C'Bearing, 26, of Ethete, who also was arrested for public intoxication.

- Morgan Abeyta, 18, of Riverton, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant and for interfering with a peace officer at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of North Federal Boulevard. The initial call was regarding shoplifting.

- Candice Vanskike, 36, of Riverton, was arrested for driving under the influence at about 11:15 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Hill Street. According to reports, she was involved in a traffic accident involving a deer and her Nissan Versa. Witnesses said the Versa was totaled; the driver reportedly appeared intoxicated and had blood on the back of her head.

- Tootie Bercier, 31, of Riverton, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant at about 3:15 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of East Fremont Avenue.

- Eldon Antelope, 48, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication at about 9:10 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of East Pershing Avenue. With him was James Goggles, 48, of Arapahoe, who was arrested for public intoxication and on a municipal warrant; Rosetta Hutchinson, 36, of Riverton, who was arrested for public intoxication; Byron Lincoln, 47, of Riverton, who was arrested for public intoxication; Francis Warren, 55, of Riverton, who was arrested for public intoxication; and Forrest Yellowfish, 34, of Riverton, who was arrested for public intoxication.

- Joel Lewis, 42, of Riverton, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant at about 8 p.m. Monday on Arapahoe Drive.

- Dana Eagle, 36, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication at about 9:30 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of East Pershing Avenue.

In Fremont County Sheriff's Office weekend reports through Tuesday morning:

- Stony Allen, 35, of Riverton, was arrested for breach of peace.

- Gordon Harstad, 27, of Lander, was arrested for driving under the influence, fleeing and attempting to elude at about 11:50 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of Tweed Lane in Lander.

- Jared Oldman, 23, of Riverton, was arrested for driving under the influence at about 2:15 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of North Federal Boulevard.

- Michael Ruby, 32, of Riverton, was arrested for driving under the influence and open container.

- Henry Standingelk, 35, of Riverton, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at about 2:15 p.m. Friday at the Fremont County Sheriff's Office in Lander.

- Albert Tillman, 42, of Lander, was arrested for driving under the influence.

- Joseph Withrow, 32, of Lander, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at about 5:20 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Northside Drive in Lander.

- Riverton firefighters responded at about 1:15 a.m. Sunday to reports of a bus on fire at Skaggs Auto Rebuilding in east Riverton. Officials said one truck and six firemen confined the small fire to the bus, which the vehicle owner had been using for parts.

- A resident on Willow Creek Road in Lander called the FCSO at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday to report a "large explosion sound" to the north that "shook the house." The man reportedly said he could see smoke from the area. Officials said the noise was caused when nearby property owners shot an exploding target -- not a criminal offense.

- An assault that was recorded at about 1:20 p.m. Friday at the Fremont County Sheriff's Office in Lander reportedly took place April 13, 2013, at the Fremont County Detention Center. The report was made based on a sergeant's request. Further information was unavailable Tuesday.

- The Wyoming Highway Patrol responded at about 5:45 a.m. Monday to reports that a "Napa truck" had rolled several times in the 2400 block of Sand Draw Road southeast of Riverton. Initial reports suggested someone may have been under the vehicle, but officials on Tuesday said no one was underneath the van.

- The U.S. Forest Service reported seeing a grizzly bear sow and two cubs in the right-of-way of U.S. Highway 26 in Dubois. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department responded, but further information was unavailable Tuesday.

- The FCSO took 229 calls for service during this time frame, including one involving a motor vehicle accident. County ambulances were dispatched 55 times, and area fire departments responded to six calls for help. Thirty-nine people were booked into the Fremont County Detention Center for charges including six for driving under the influence, 17 other alcohol-related charges, two felony charges and 53 misdemeanor charges. The center currently is responsible for 169 inmates, including 150 at the facility, 12 in substance abuse treatment programs, three on home detention and four being housed elsewhere.
