Jun 20, 2013 - From staff reportsMichael L. Townsend, 26, of Rawlins, was arrested for possession of stolen property and driving under suspension Monday after he crashed a Napa Auto Parts truck on Sand Draw Road.R32;The Wyoming Highway Patrol responded at about 5:45 a.m. Monday to reports that a Napa truck had rolled several times in the 2400 block of Sand Draw Road.
WHP Lt. Tom Adams said the driver was not present at the scene.
"It turns out he went and talked to a deputy," Adams said. "(The deputy took) him to the hospital."
Investigators said Townsend took the truck from Napa Auto Parts in Riverton.
He was transported to Riverton Memorial Hospital to be treated for injuries, then brought to the Fremont County Detention Center.
