Jun 23, 2013 - StaffSharon Kaye Harold Vogel, formerly of Fremont County, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
She was 73 years old.
Funeral services are at 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at Hudson's Funeral Home, 680 Mount Hope Drive, Lander.
Visitation is one hour before services at the funeral home.Burial follows at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander.
A reception will follow the services.
Sharon Kaye Harold was born Nov. 1, 1939, in Malta, Mont., the daughter of Charles R. Harold and Leona Dorn Harold.
She lived in Lander and Riverton for 20 years, and her family said she always considered Wyoming home.
She attended schools in Wyoming, graduated from Rock River High School, and attended Park Business College in Denver.
On April 20, 1958, she married Frank Sylvester Vogel in Rock River.
She was a mother and homemaker and also worked as a bookkeeper and secretary.
Her family said she loved board games and game shows, and she enjoyed texting and using Face-book.
She also enjoyed any and all activities that involved her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Frank S. Vogel, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; daughter Donna Wareing and husband Mike of Idaho Falls, Idaho; sons Bob Vogel and Dar of Pavillion, Ken Vogel and wife Barbara of Kingwood, Texas, and Frank Vogel and wife Michelle of Gillette; 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather Archie Asay; and brother Kenny Asay.
