County's surplus could have been shared with public

It came to my attention that the Fremont County Commissioners had $1 million extra in their budget.

Because my Social Security benefits have not increased, nor my wife's salary, and because neither shows any signs of doing so, and because we have to pay for our own insurance, I think the commissioners should have made some laws and rules so the extra money in their coffers could have been returned to the general public in the form of a tax reduction, $100 per citizen, or whatever could be deemed acceptable.
