Tami Wocicki, of Lander, died Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Wyoming Life Resource Center. She was 49 years old.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at Davis Funeral Home. Pastor Justin Vold will officiate.

Tami Danette Wocicki was born Jan. 2, 1964, in Newcastle, the daughter of Gene A. Wocicki and Judy N. Bates. She lived in Newcastle and Gillette, and when she was 7 she moved to Wyoming Life Resource Center in Lander.

She was baptized into the Methodist faith and attended church services at the Wyoming Life Resource Center.

Her family said she loved animals, interacting with people, watching movies and TV, swimming, watching football games and listening to music. Her favorite channel on TV was the Animal Planet.

She is survived by her parents, Gene Wocicki and Judy Bates of Riverton; brothers Steve Wocicki of Riverton and Scot Wocicki and his wife Frances of Berkeley, Calif.; uncle Billy Bates of Laughlin, Nev.; aunts Arlene Rapp and her husband Ed of Lusk and Linda Elliott and her husband Lee of Newcastle; niece Amanda; nephew Shane; and all of her family and friends at the Wyoming Life Resource Center.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bing and Rubyjean Bates and Felix and Bernice Wocicki, and her uncle, Gary Wocicki.

Memorial donations may be made to PAWS in care of Davis Funeral Home, 2203 W. Main St., Riverton, WY 82501.
