My comment is on Gov. Mead's recent remarks in a Ranger story under the headline "Mead: Coal can't be ignored in Obama's energy planning."
I am sure that President Obama has no intention of doing away with any part of the coal industry in Wyoming.
Wyoming also has vast supplies of natural gas that can be used in place of burning coal in the United States. That source of energy will give us a much cleaner source of energy than coal, and China is eager to purchase all of the coal that can be mined here in Wyoming.
