Jul 21, 2013 - StaffJames Richard "Jimmy" Evans of Casper died Tuesday July 16, 2013 surrounded by his family.
He was 75 years old.
He was born in Byron on Aug. 2, 1937, to Evan and Norma (Lester) Evans.
He graduated from Riverton High School in 1956 and attended Casper College.
He married Kay McCune in 1963, and they made their home in Glenrock.
He worked for American Tobacco and Hamms Brewing Company before opening Evans' El Diablo Supper Club.
Jimmy Evans is survived by three sisters, Norma, Alice Jane and Ann.
He also is survived by three children, Michelle (Dean), Evan (Jennifer) and Melissa (Chris) and five grandchildren;], CJ, Colby, Nick, Corbin, and Emily.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tom Evans.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to Shriners Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City.
