The Riverton Raiders split with the Casper Drillers to end the American Legion baseball regular season Saturday night at Roy Peck Field.
In the opener, Riverton's Ryan Axthelm drove in the game-winning hit for a 14-12 victory over the Drillers.
In the second game, Casper defeated the Raiders 14-4. Riverton finished the regular season with a 10-32 mark. Riverton was 0-4 in league play. Riverton's Delbert Wichelhaus was honored on the night for playing his final home game of his career.
Baylor Beers had a home run in the first game to power Riverton to the win.
In the second game, the Drillers had a quick 5-1 lead after the first inning. Casper scored five more runs in the third inning for a 10-1 lead. Riverton scored three in the bottom of the fourth, but was scoreless in the final two innings.
The Green River Knights and the Laramie Rangers won their division and automatically are qualified for the state tournament.
The two teams will play a best two-out-of three series for the No. 1 or No. 2 seed out of the North district. The Raiders open the district tournament in Laramie at noon Thursday vs. the Rawlins Generals.
The winner of Riverton-Rawlins plays at 3 p.m. against the Evanston Outlaws. The winner of that game qualifies for the state tournament.
The Riverton-Rawlins loser goes at 3 p.m. Friday with the Evanston-Rawlins loser for a spot in the state tournament.

Riverton (No. 3 seed, Southwest) vs. Rawlins (No. 2 seed, Southeast), noon.
Riverton-Rawlins winners vs. Evanston (No. 2 seed/Southwest), 3 p.m.
Green River (No. 1 seed/Southwest) vs. Laramie (No. 1 seed/Southeast).
