NAPA joins support network for Intrepid Fallen Heroes

Jul 25, 2013 - By Alejandra Silva, Staff Writer

NAPA Auto Parts stores and NAPA AutoCare centers in Riverton have joined forces in support of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a non-profit organization that aids wounded military personnel.

Bob's Auto & Equipment Repair, Black Smoke Performance, Gunner's Automotive Center, RH Auto Repair, Riverton Tire and Oil, and Top of the Hill Auto Repair are participating in the customer rebate program.

Napa donates $1 to the fund for every consumer rebate redeemed for Napa batteries, starters or alternators and $2 for qualifying installations at participating Napa AutoCare centers.

"This is the way NAPA helps support our independence and honor our brave women and men that serve in the military and those we have lost," NAPA Auto Parts manager Guy Carleton said. "It's our way of showing our gratitude and appreciation."

The fund has provided roughly $150 million for families of veterans and other U.S. military personnel who have lost their lives or been wounded.

Fund projects are assisted entirely by 100 percent of the contributions.
