Single-director format for museums is unnecessary and not best way to spend money

Jul 26, 2013 - Patti Anderson, Riverton

Here we go again.

It has only been a few years since the issue of administrative restructure for Fremont County museums failed the last time. It is still not good for the individual atmosphere of each museum.

Placing all county museums with one director could, potentially, jeopardize the ability to focus on the mission of preserving the history of each community.

It has already been said there is a need for more staff in the museums.

There also is a need for considerable maintenance in some.

Wouldn't it be wise to spend Fremont County funds over there on a need instead of on something that is not needed?
