Aug 14, 2013 - StaffCindy L. Maddux, of Fort Collins, Colo., died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013. She was 62 years old.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at Timberline Church, South Auditorium, in Fort Collins, Colo. Interment will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton.
Cindy Leigh Maddux was born March 4, 1951, in Powell, the daughter of William and Cathryn Maddux. She graduated from Riverton High School and the Colorado School of Medical and Dental Assistants.
She showed and trained quarter horses all over the United States, and she owned and operated Happy Grass Lawn Care. She also worked for Avert (ADP) for several years, bred poodles, and worked as a nail technician and receptionist at Salon West.
Her family said she loved reading, gardening and her dogs. They said she was a loving mother and mother-in-law with a strong devotion to her family.
She is survived by her father, William Maddux, of Fort Collins, Colo.; daughter Joyelle Camilli and her husband Doug of Denver; sisters Christy Scott and her husband Rick of Tulsa, Okla., and Cheri Scott and her husband Jim of Timnath, Colo.; and grand dog Landy.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Cathryn Maddux, and her daughter, Chelsea Hull.
