Aug 19, 2013 - StaffJody Lopez, of Riverton, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. She was 56 years old.
Per her request, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at Davis Funeral Home.
Jody Mae Ingwerson was born Jan. 28, 1957, in Prineville, Ore., the daughter of Lloyd Giles and Lisa Renee (Castro) Ingwerson. She graduated from Lander and was a lifelong resident of Wyoming.
On Oct. 4, 1975, she married Luciao Lopez in Riverton, and together they had two sons, Travis and Jason.
Her family said she enjoyed gardening, four-wheeling and going to the mountains.
She is survived by her husband, Luciao; sons Travis and his wife Misti of Riverton and Jason and his wife Tanya of Riverton; mother Lisa R. Jensen of Casper; brother Tom Ingwerson of Casper; and grandchildren Maci, Ryon, Anthony, Tiana, Sophie and Trai, all of Riverton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Giles Ingwerson, in 1974.
Memorials may be made to the Tough Enough Cancer Fund in care of Davis Funeral Home, 2203 W. Main St., Riverton, WY 82501.
