Aug 22, 2013 - By Craig Blumenshine, Staff WriterA fundraiser to help defer medical and other expenses for Riverton High School assistant football coach and longtime wrestling assistant coach Brandon Giddings is this Saturday at the Riverton Elks Club.
The public is welcome to attend.
Giddings is working through complications from a liver transplant that resulted in two flight-for-life trips and six weeks of hospital stays and checks in Denver this year.
Giddings has endured post-transplant complications but was back on the field Monday working with the Wolverine football squad.
The event starts with an $8 per plate dinner from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
After the meal, various items, including Riverton's famous Betty's Pizzas, a Wyoming Cowboy football weekend and a mountain bike will be auctioned, and a raffle drawing for prizes will be held.
