Aug 25, 2013 - StaffFremont County emergency management personnel will participate in a county-wide disaster drill at 4 p.m. Tuesday. The training involves several first responders, including members of Fremont County Emergency Medical Services, Fremont County Sheriff's Office, Lander Police Department, Lander Fire Department, public health, Wyoming Highway Patrol and both county hospitals.
The drill will not affect actual emergency response service. However, residents should be aware that there will be increased emergency vehicle traffic on Leedy Drive near the Wyoming Life Resource Center in Lander and at both Lander Regional Hospital and Riverton Memorial Hospital.
