Aug 25, 2013 - StaffCentral Wyoming College's theater department begins preparation for the 2013-14 season by auditioning actors for a Shakespeare comedy on September 4.
Director Mike Myers is holding auditions for "The Merry Wives of Windsor," at 6:30 p.m. on the main stage of the Robert A. Peck Arts Center.
There are roles for 12 men, eight women and eight children.
Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script, which can be checked out from Myers.
While "The Merry Wives of Windsor" is not well-known, Myers said the play is Shakespeare's funniest and features some of his most popular characters.
CWC stages the comedy Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m., and a 2:30 p.m. matinee is set for Nov. 3
For more information, contact Myers at 855-2217 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
