CWC Convocation features traveler, professor emeritus

Aug 28, 2013 - From staff reports

Central Wyoming College's annual Convocation features a keynote address by an inspirational world traveler and the conferral of professor emeritus title Thursday.

The public is invited to participate at the 10 a.m. start-of-the-academic year celebration in the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theatre, which is followed by a free picnic lunch.

Andy Stoll, who went on a four-year, 40-country trip after his own college graduation, will talk about the lessons he learned while providing an entertaining look at what he learned while traveling and developing start-up businesses.

Before his speech, CWC President Jo Anne McFarland will confer the title of professor emeritus on Princess Killebrew, who began her association with the college as an adjunct instructor nearly 20 years ago. The retired education professor joins 23 other faculty in the college's 47-year history to receive the honor.
