Aug 28, 2013 - StaffAutomobiles on U.S. Highway 26 west of Riverton near Airport Hill followed a pilot vehicle through a construction zone. Highway resurfacing for several miles west of town slowed traffic at certain times of day in recent days. It has been a busy summer for U.S. 26. Earlier in the year a flood-repair project took place farther west near the Wind River bridge, where the roadway was damaged in 2011.
