Aug 30, 2013 - From staff reportsThe Does supreme president Esther Fister-Palmer will arrive Thursday in Riverton for the Wyoming State Convention.
Her theme "Love and Kindness Matters" will go hand in hand with her song "What the World Needs Now is Love."
The Riverton Drove 48 will host the 2013 State Does Convention Sept. 5-7. Does from across the state will attend, along with past supreme presidents Doris Howe, Betty Ann Cheek, Connie Joe Coochey, Roberta Reichter and Dianne Labor.
The opening ceremony will be at 8 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Riverton Elks Lodge. The public is welcome to attend. The state meeting will be Sept. 7 with a banquet following that night.
