The Riverton Lady Wolverines volleyball team begins Class 4-A West conference play Thursday at 5 p.m. at Casper Kelly Walsh High School. It will be Riverton's second meeting within a five-day span against with the Lady Trojans. In Cheyenne on Saturday at the McDonald's Invitational Tournament, Riverton beat KW in the first game 25-17 but fell in the next two sets to the Lady Trojans 21-25 and 5-15 to lose the match. Overall last weekend, the Lady Wolverines were 2-3, but improved each game, according to Riverton head coach Adrian McNamee. Following Thursday's match, the Lady Wolverines stay on the road for a two-day tournament in Gillette. "I want to improve our consistency as we narrow down the rotation for the year. "Against Kelly Walsh, I want to play aggressive the entire time and pick up communication levels," McNamee said.
