Sep 5, 2013 - StaffColeen Kathryn Coleman died Friday, Aug. 30, 2013. She was 52 years old.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Lander. A light lunch will be served before proceeding to Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton for internment.
Coleen Kathryn Coleman was born Aug. 3, 1961, at Bishop Randall Hospital in Lander, the daughter of Thomas and Leila Coleman.
She grew up in Lander and graduated from Lander Valley High School in 1979.
She was an active member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, and she will be missed by her church family. She loved attending Bible study and was always ready and willing to help out whenever possible. Her family said she was an avid historian who kept meticulous family records, and she also loved to crochet, write her pen pals, read and go to the thrift store.
She is survived by her mother, Leila, of Lander; brother David and his wife Judy of Philadelphia, Miss.; sister-in-law Tamara of Bottineau, N.D.; and one niece and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy, her brother, John, and both sets of grandparents.
