Mary Magdeline Bad Marriage-Groesbeck

Mary Magdeline Bad Marriage-Groesbeck died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at her home surrounded by family following a lengthy illness. She was 59 years old.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, at Blue Sky Hall with George Wells officiating. An evening service will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, at Blue Sky Hall with a wake to follow at the family residence, 7 Farm Station St., Ethete. Interment will be in the Friday Cemetery in Ethete.

Mary Bad Marriage-Groesbeck was born April 26, 1954, in Browning, Mont., the daughter of Ruth Chanpine Bad Marriage and the late Joseph Bad Marriage.

Her family said she enjoyed fishing and her pets, Chica, Samantha and Nuskii.

She is survived by her husband, Brian; sons Brian Jr. (Cathy) and Myron; daughter Connie Marie; adopted sons Jason Brown, Telano Groesbeck, J.P. Magnan and Patrick Maes; adopted daughters Krysta Whitewolf and Felicia Brown; mother Ruth C. Renville-Bad Marriage; brothers George Wells (Emogene) of Kinnear, Leo (Lyda) Wells, Willie (Liz) Wells, Gabriel Renville and Garrett Renville, all of Browning, Mont.; sisters Leona (Gayle) Skunkcap, Maxine (Everett) Skunkcap, Nema Renville, Cheryl Renville Ball, all of Browning, Mont.; adopted brothers Lester Fast Horse Sr. of Poplar, Mont., and Jason Locust of Pine Ridge, S.D.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Bad Marriage; daughters Paula and Izzy Wells and Shantelle; and brothers Vern Bad Marriage, Paul Bad Marriage, Tony Renville and Matt Renville.

Services are provided by Wind Dancer Funeral Home.
