In Thursday's Ranger, the page five story "After merger, Strathmore lays off half of employes" misconstrued the nature of the layoffs. Strathmore Minerals and Energy Fuels merged operations as of Aug. 30, leaving Energy Fuels as the controlling partner. As noted in the accompanying story, the layoffs were initiated at that point by Energy Fuels, not by Strathmore. Five to six workers will be retained by Energy Fuels in the Riverton office.
The story also should have said Stephen Antony is the president of Energy Fuels.
