LARAMIE (AP) -- University of Wyoming President Bob Sternberg says progress is being made on filling vacancies in upper level administrative jobs at the university.
Sternberg says some of the positions could be filled by the end of the month.
Sternberg reported to the UW trustees that two finalists for vice president of administration will visit the Laramie campus this week.
He says the search for a new provost to replace Myron Allen is not so far along.
Sternberg says a search committee for UW's No. 2 position is still being set up.
UW also is searching for a project manager on engineering and energy.
Sternberg says two finalists are expected to visit UW by the end of the month.
