Church offering new service times, program opportunities
Sep 27, 2013 - From staff reports
The First Baptist Church in Riverton has a number of new opportunities for its members.
"We're trying to appeal to all ages," said church secretary Mary Hutchison.
The Sunday morning service is changing from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with a mix of contemporary and traditional music.
The church also is adding new worship times for children, which will take place at the same time as the morning service with different lessons each week.
The junior high through adult small group opportunities are spread out throughout the morning and include studies by Warren Weirsbe, Crown financial classes, Kevin Lehman's "Have a New Family by Sunday" and the "Truth Project."
First Baptist also will host the first Mothers of Preschoolers group from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 3.
