Sep 27, 2013 - By Craig Blumenshine, Staff Writer

The Riverton Lady Wolverines volleyball team lost to Cheyenne Central in straight sets 25-22, 25-21, 25-14 Thursday night in a Class 4-A non-conference match in Casper.

Both Riverton and Central are tied for fourth in the most recent statewide media poll.

"We couldn't find flow. We didn't pass or communicate well," RHS head coach Adrian McNamee said.

Both teams will stay in Casper and compete in the annual Casper Invitational Volleyball Tournament Friday and Saturday.

Ten of the 12 Wyoming Class 4-A teams are competing, along with several teams from smaller classifications.

Douglas is the reigning champion of the tournament.

Riverton will battle in pool play Friday afternoon against Laramie,

Kaycee and Sheridan. Teams will advance to Saturday bracket play based on Friday's results.
