Casper investigates council member

Sep 28, 2013 - The Associated Press

CASPER -- Casper is considering hiring an attorney to look into unspecified ethics issues possibly involving city councilman Craig Hedquist.

The city manager last week recommended hiring an attorney to look at matters involving a possible conflict of interest and Wyoming's public service code of ethics.

Michael Lansing, an attorney for Hedquist, says he is working to understand what the city is investigating and will make sure Hedquist "has an opportunity for due process."
