City invited to Mammoth Music opening

Oct 3, 2013 - By Alejandra Silva, Staff Writer

The Riverton City Council has received an open invitation for the grand re-opening celebration of Mammoth Music, 318 E. Main St.

The opening will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 1 in downtown Riverton.

Store owner Bernard Masson said the much talked-about sign and front facade in the shape of a guitar is one of the big changes people sure "can't miss."

"It's really exciting to see someone investing in our downtown area," Mayor Ron Warpness said.

The music store celebrated an earlier grand opening in May 2012 after a change in ownership.

In 2011, the business was purchased from longtime owner Deb Stone.
