Oct 10, 2013 - The Associated PressCHEYENNE -- The first five inductees into the new Wyoming Business Hall of Fame will be recognized at a dinner event in Cheyenne next month.
The inductees include JC Penney retail chain founder James Cash Penney, and international business consultant W. Edwards Deming.
Oil entrepreneur H.A. "Dave" True, rancher and banker Homer Scott Sr., and Jackson hotel entrepreneur Clarene Law also will be inducted.
The induction dinner is scheduled for Nov. 19 at Little America Hotel and Resort in Cheyenne.
The Business Hall of Fame is a cooperative project of the University of Wyoming College of Business, the Wyoming Business Alliance/Wyoming Heritage Foundation, and Wyoming Business Council.
