State OKs funding for new elementary school propertyOct 22, 2013 Staff
Fremont County School District 25 administrators have announced that the district will receive roughly $408,000 to purchase property for a new elementary school.
The Wyoming School Facilities Commission approved the measure last week.
Superintendent Terry Snyder relayed the news Tuesday during the regular school board meeting. He said the funding would help only with the design phase and purchasing of land.
The property, 1200 W. Monroe Ave., sits north of Rein Park in the southern part of Riverton.
