Oct 31, 2013 - StaffAlfred L. Presgrove died Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, in Freedom. He was 78 years old.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at St. Helens Church in Crowheart with Echo Klaprath officiating. Cremation has taken place.
Alfred Louis Presgrove was born Nov. 20, 1934, in Lander, the son of Minnie Presgrove and the late Walter "Lou" Presgrove.
He attended schools at Crowheart and Pavillion.
He worked for I.B.E.W. and was a logger. He also served in the U.S. Army.
His family said he enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.
He is survived by his spouse, Georgia Presgrove of Crowheart; son Tom Presgrove of Crowheart; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Carrie Presgrove and Alfred and Mary Gilliland; aunts Marie, Mildred, Doughty Ann and Lucille Presgrove and Jenny Gilliland; and uncles Don, Marion, Jim and Harold Presgrove and Art and Edwin Gilliland.
Services are provided by Wind Dancer Funeral Home.
