Nov 8, 2013 - StaffTim Despain Pence, formerly of Lander, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013, in Forest, Miss., where he was working as a field engineer for Raytheon Corporation. He was 50 years old.

Tim Despain Pence was born July 18, 1963, in Lander, the son of Wilbur and Dorothy (Brown) Pence.
He attended Lander schools for 12 years. In 1981, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps where he served for 20 years.
On May 3, 1986, he married Luzviminda Goda Calledo.
He is survived by his wife, Luzviminda; daughter Maylene Pence of Mesa, Ariz.; sons Nicholas Pence and his wife Charlotte of Mesa, Ariz., and Thomas Pence of Yuma, Ariz.; stepdaughters Edwina Sanchez and Erminda Sanchez of Yuma, Ariz.; stepson Jhun Mejia (Klaudya) of Yuma, Ariz.; mother Dorothy Pence of Lander; sister Tracy Wright and her daughters of Lander; grandmother Jacqueline Brown of Lander; and aunt Wilma Hull and her daughters of Sheridan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Pence; grandmother Agnes Fletcher; and grandfathers Roscoe Pence, Bill Fletcher and Bill Brown.
