Nov 8, 2013 - StaffRobert Bolding, of Riverton, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at his home. He was 82 years old.
Cremation has taken place, and military graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Mountain View Cemetery.
Robert Frank Bolding was born Feb. 8, 1931, in Oklahoma City, the son of Ray Frank and Grace (Wentworth) Bolding.
He joined the U.S. Air Force on Dec. 30, 1950, and was honorably discharged on Dec. 18, 1952. He earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the UN Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
He was an engineer by trade and worked numerous places in Arizona and Colorado.
A few years ago, he moved from Rock Springs to Riverton.
His friends said he traveled to and from New Mexico and enjoyed camping, reading, fishing and going to the Riverton Senior Center to visit. He also loved to go to South Pass and prospect. They said he will be missed by his friends at the Riverton Senior Center.
