L & H Industrial of Gillette will play an integral role in overhauling and upgrading NASA's crawler-transporter (CT-2) in 2013 and 2014. L & H will supply and install 500 tons of high-grade steel rollers, sleeves, shaft assemblies and other hardware for the siB-million-pound machine. For over 45 years, the transporter has moved America's Apollo and Saturn V rockets and space shuttles to the Kennedy Space Center launch pad.
